The Host

Hamish Stevens

Hamish Stevens is an Auckland based independent director, and since 2010 has held a number of directorships in the publicly listed, private, and government sectors. Hamish has chaired several Risk and Assurance committees as part of his governance roles, most recently chairing the Risk and Assurance Committee of the Waikato Regional Council. Prior to his governance career, Hamish held senior management positions with some of New Zealand’s largest companies including Heinz-Wattie, Tip Top Ice Cream, and DB Breweries.  Hamish is a qualified chartered accountant and a chartered member of the Institute of Directors.
